Some contact the user emails have not been sending for the past week.

Hi — we’ve been alerted to the fact that some contact emails have not been going through in the last week. Upon investigation, we’ve discovered that this is due to changes introduced when we upgraded our web server stack a week ago.
We’re currently working on a fix for this, and expect normal contact emails to resume working within the hour. Once the fix is out, people should start receiving their contact emails as usual. You should also receive any emails that you missed for the duration of the problem.
We’re really sorry for any inconvenience caused by this, and hope that it hasn’t greatly put anybody out.
I’ll keep you posted here about progress on this, and in the meantime, thanks for bearing with us.

Shop items may appear to reorder after a deploy

Hi — we’re about to push a fix to one of the issues affecting shop ordering. This may result in you seeing your shop items change order in shopkeeping. The reason for this is that attempts to reorder the shop items were in fact working, but the view was failing to honour the correct order.

This fix addresses that issue.

Thanks,

   Doug.

Twitter buttons overwriting images for some IE8 users

Hi again. We’ve been looking at a bug where some users were having images overwritten by Twitter buttons.

We’re not sure why this is, yet, but have contacted Twitter to see if they can help at all. This is very reminiscent of a bug introduced by changes to the Twitter javascript API that happened last year, which was fixed by Twitter updating their javascript.

In the meantime, we’ve disabled the share on twitter button for items that was the cause of the problem.

As soon as we can fix it, we’ll do that and let you know, but in the meantime we hope not having the Twitter button won’t be too great an inconvenience, and we offer our apologies to those users who have been affected by this issue.

Thanks,

   Doug.
